My friends Westie, photo taken when he was fairly young. This was the first time I'd used the Derwent Graphitint pencils I'd been given for Christmas by my lovely husband. I'm really pleased with the result as I haven't done anything like this before. I'm more into painting watercolour botanicals or pastel landscapes but I think I'll try more pet portraits like this as it was so enjoyable.
