The Cobweb Crown
This work is based on my daughter even though it’s not her and there isn’t a likeness. My daughters have been bought up in London, are independent, spirited, bright and funny. They have both faced challenges growing up and like all young people their innocent expectations and dreams have been eroded by recent global events and the demands of our brittle and inharmonious society. But my beautiful girls wear their cobweb crown with pride as they are fighters who have embraced the challenges they face with strength and integrity.
