This painting was inspired by my memories of holidays past when, after a perfect day on one of our Cornish holidays, a walk on the beach at sunset with my late wife, Jean, was a fitting way to end that perfect day. I am grateful to Grant Fuller for his YouTube demonstration video, which featured a similar painting.
