The Wallflower
This painting takes me back to the times in my youth and to this day where I find myself in an awkward situation where Id rather be anyway else but there. The downcast eyes, dishevelled hair , bare face, the dress obviously chosen by someone else, that’s the young me and sadly prevails today. The lace on the lace was done entirely by hand.
