Three Tomatoes
Gilli Austin's "Three Tomatoes". An acrylic on paper. A realist/photorealist image of three tomatoes on a white plate. This painting was created for my workshops for students to copy. It demonstrates the techniques of glazes, stippling, washes and drybrush, which my students are all encouraged to master. Being used for beginner classes throughout 2011. Currently not for sale, but may well come up for sale at a later date.
