I was doing this for an SAA 'competition' then realised I should have used mixed media. Maybe next time!
For this one I used Rembrandt soft pastels on Pastelmat paper. This is the first time I have used Pastelmat (my mother gave me some to try) and I'm still learning with the pastels. Didn't get this one quite right. Found the angles a bit tricky.
I think I'll give it another go - maybe the head and shoulders only.
