Vase with stars

My wife bought a sparkly red vase with some stars on twisted sticks which brightened up our conservatory.I loved it and was inspired to paint a watercolour. It remonded be a bit of the Bay City Rollers with their star jumpers and the joy of being a kid. I was also interested in the idea of taking control of still life so that some of the pictures contents were designed by me. So I make a table that jutted out from the right like a diving board rather than a conventional table.
