Vibrations of History
I live in rural Italy, and I am surrounded by old ruins, including pre-Roman tombs. I am fascinated by the 'history and mystery' of these, and I have been using various techniques to try and capture this idea, and the aura of these places. This is mainly watercolour, used over gesso in some of the building areas, also using collage of threads, bandage, card and newspaper to add to the textural quality of the ruins.I havent yet totally achieved what I am aiming for, butI am getting close.
