Back in 2018, SAA partnered with the Royal British Legion to commemorate the end of WW1. We challenged our members to paint a poppy using any medium they wished. With over 5000 entries it was one of our most popular member challenges to date!
The challenge culminated in an exhibition of all works at Art Materials Live at the NEC and raised over £7,000 for the Royal British Legion, highlighting the wonderful work of the charity to support service men and women and remembering the lives tragically lost in World War 1.
This Armistice Day we invite you to paint a poppy to remember all of those who have lost their lives in conflict and support serving and ex-serving personnel and their families by donating to the RBL’s Poppy Appeal.
