I teach art-related subjects in a variety of methods in all sorts of media, genres and subjects. One area is my on-going watercolour courses which provide structured tuition for
– intermediate level painters who want to develop their technique
– past painters who wish to re-engage with the medium
– painters with experience who have “plateaud”, would like to examine their style & methods, and to move forward again
Format: The content is varied, and there is a formal structure with clear objectives designed to meet member’s needs, including a mixture of directed work and individual choice; diverse subject matter (landscape, still life, portraiture, townscape etc); specific analysis (perspective, composition, observation skills, recording techniques etc); en plain air; reference to other artists work (DVD’s books) and so on. Venue: Dore Old School, Savage Lane Dore Sheffield S17 3GW
Days: Wednesday afternoons, 2.00 to 4.30pm; Thursday mornings, 9.30 am to 12.00 noon; Thursday evenings, 7.00 to 9.30pm
Classes run in modules of nine weeks and cost £90 per module
