Free your Art’ is a one day workshop on Saturday 19th October 2024, 10am – 4pm at Cropthorne Village Hall, Cropthorne, Worcestershire (WR10 3LZ).

This is a fun workshop designed to loosen you up and create art that comes from your heart. We will be working in acrylics and using lots of tools to create interesting marks and textures in an abstract way, on a big sheet of paper gridded up with tape into small squares; leading to creating small semi abstract landscapes and seascapes for you to frame and take home. We will be working with a limited palette of colours, using palette knives, credit cards (old ones!), combs, bubble wrap, sticks and lots more. This is a chance for you to create art by letting go of rules and conventions, feel freedom and joy in the making of art, whilst creating paintings that you are proud of. We will be looking at typical compositions of land and seascapes to help us create the finished pieces.
