While much can be achieved working at home, coming along to a group has real benefits. Not only do you get expert tuition, help and advice, but also the support and camaraderie of your fellow art learners. If you fancy having a go, or wish to improve your skills or learn how to use a new medium, then do get in touch to talk it over with me. I aim to make my art groups a welcoming and supportive environment to be in and through my own demonstrations, you will see ways to enjoy art.
I also offer one to one tuition separately, either in your own home or an agreed suitable place, for those who feel they would like a more personalised art tuition service. This gives you a much more intimate approach to your art learning and experience, where you can ask lots of questions, watch me demonstrate techniques and give practical tips, and provide you with a uniquely tailor made programme for your own development. Do get in touch if you would like to know more about this. Other people have really benefitted from the individual approach, even if to get going on drawing or painting, without the atmosphere of a group situation.
There will be more sketching out sessions coming up soon at local locations. They will be relaxed sessions, supported by my guidance on how to draw directly from the view around you, with practical tips and hands on advice. Just let me know if you’d like to come along with a lightweight sketchbook and a few materials;HB pencil, few coloured pencils, small watercolour box or watercolour pencils and water brush pen. Keep it light and simple, and that makes it much more enjoyable. So, hope this might inspire you and I’ll see you at an event soon,
Happy painting,
