In these demonstrations I will share my own techniques for painting wildlife in oils. I am happy to discuss all kinds of tricks with you, including: how to accurately map out any animal before painting, how to create furry effects, and how to easily paint scales on reptiles.
During the session, I shall also share with you some of my ‘Lore Art’, inspired by fairy tales and folklore, and talk about the animal and wildlife elements within them. If you love stories as well as art, hearing about the mysterious and mythical lore behind some of our wildlife will be interesting to you, and I would love to learn anything you know too!
