Paul Gadenne

Held by Paul Gadenne

If you’ve ever wanted to draw or paint or want to further develop your artist skills, then come along and join one of our friendly art groups.
The weekly two hour art classes are designed to suit all artists from the beginner to the more experienced. Each week creative projects are introduced which are tailored to teach the novice new skills and to stretch the more proficient. While regular projects are part of a structured lesson plan, artists are also encouraged to develop individual projects where they can recieve support to improve their skills over a longer period.
Artists will be working through a wide range of themes and media from painting and drawing to printing and collaborative projects. Our aim is to educate, encourage and inspire our artists to reach their creative potential. Throughout the year we try to keep the program as varied as possible with plein air work, visiting demonstrators and an annual trip to the SAA show in Islington, London.
Your teacher, Paul Gadenne, has spent twenty seven years teaching graphics and design and has work displayed regularly at top exhibitions such as, the Mall Galleries, the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition to name a few. His work is in public and private collections both at home and abroad. Along with his wife Pam, they will offer you a warm welcome at any one of our three venues.
Classes are held at Dunkirk Village Hall and the Guildhall at Sandwich.
All have parking nearby and good transport links. Each class lasts two hours and costs just £12 (including tea and biscuits!)
