My Monday morning art group is running again! Just a year after the closure of our base at the BrevonArt Gallery we have found a new home in the old Art College on Church View, Doncaster DN1 1AF from 10am to 12 noon. Eight members of the old group have already signed up but, due to a larger room, we can accommodate anther four. If there is enough demand an afternoon group may be set up.
Price is £10 per 2 hour session. Refreshments are included. Basic materials are supplied though most members choose to bring their own. Over many years in art education I have developed a wide repertoire of styles and techniques. With the art groups that I teach I prefer to adopt an individual approach to tuition and by keeping the numbers small I am able to help my students to create the kind of pictures that interest them. Most students work in acrylics and watercolours with a few using oils or pastels.
I demonstrate and do workshops for art groups encouraging people to try a fresh and loose approach to painting.
Individual tuition is also available from the first steps in watercolours to reviewing your portfolio and advising on possible ways forward.
