Oil are often viewed as a slow medium due to the time it takes for them to dry but there are different techniques which do allow for getting a painting done quickly, As part of the SAA 30th anniversary celebration which aims to inspire and encourage everyone to find a little time to pick up a brush or pen or try something new, here is a 30 minute oil painting of a foxglove using water mixable oils.
