Self-taught and hailing from the Midlands, after over a decade working in the media industry in London I moved to Newquay in 2017. Working part-time as an artist I have work on display in Cornish galleries and shops, as well as online. I have also contributed to Cornish charitable projects with another in the pipeline for next year.
As a part-time artist, time to paint is precious so it can be hard to acknowledge when something hasn't worked, but taking those chances, tolerating a little anxiety to try new subjects and techniques is the reason why I paint.
