I have enjoyed painting various Yorkshire Moors landscapes using acrylic paints. Turning my hand to pastels, I decided upon a landscape incorporating the magnificent carpets of purple heather, both detailed in the foreground and the distant purple haze, with the contrast of the lush green valley between.
