Kuan Yin in Colour
This framed original artwork was created in Chinese ink and watercolour on Rice paper, and backed in the authentic Chinese method. In Penang Malaysia is the Kuan Yin - Goddess of Mercy statue situated on Penang hill, she towers over the island to shower compassion and protect all Penang’s inhabitants. I chose to paint the bronze statue in colour on fine rice paper to show her peaceful beauty and delicate nature. Sold unframed for easy postage.
