Though I am a professional calligrapher, I have never done any portraits or used pastels til my rescue dog 'Happy' died over a year ago, I just wanted to make a portrait of him, I was so sad he died after only the 4 years we had him ( he was around 8 when we got him ),since this first portrait I have gone on to do around a further dozen or so and hope to continue ( giving some of the proceeds from any commissions to both greyhound rescue and Street Dog Care in Nepal,- which I already support, by carving and selling OM symbols in stone at my local yoga centre !
