Julie Lightburn

Not my usual style! The inspiration for this piece was the annual burning of heather on the moors.
I often think the model railway products I spend my working life laser cutting are beautiful works of art in themselves. The laser cuts and etches using a concentrated light to burn through the material. (One of those very strange coincidences – when I married and took the unusual name of Lightburn I had no idea I would later own my own laser cutting business)
