The Spirit of Windstar
This painting was inspired by a visit to Windstar, near Aspen/ Snowmass in the state of Colorado. The chaps in my family had gone off to play golf and left me here to draw and paint, bliss!! Windstar is a conservation area in the Rockies founded by the late environmentalist and singer song writer John Denver. I just love this place and the peace that I feel here. Worked in Neo Colours 11 on heavy weight watercolour paper. I love these crayons they give me many different effects in one stick.
