Sarah Miles

Southam, Warwickshire

Sarah trained as a Primary School teacher, and taught full time for four years before making the switch to becoming a self-employed artist.  Most weeks Sarah still teaches, both at schools and art clubs.  Sarah is most familiar with teaching 4-11 year olds, but in 2017 began providing some tuition and guidance to an adult's art group, and in 2018 started delivering demonstrations to artists.
When Sarah is not teaching, she enjoys working on commissions and her own projects.  Most of the projects are oil paintings, inspired by nature, folklore and early versions of fairy tales.  In some of her paintings are hidden creatures and monsters which viewers enjoy searching for.  Other times Sarah uses mixed media alongside her oil paints, creating some interesting textures and effects.
Sarah is available for demonstrations and workshops in the UK, as well as commissions and community projects.  Travel is not an issue.
