Cam Pasture, Wharfedale
The Yorkshire Dales are such a special place because as one travels the dales, one moves through different landscapes, all caused by the underlying geology. Most of my upland work is from the heather moors but this scene is from the limestone valleys of Upper Wharfedale. The limestone creates a perfect growing environment for lush, green grass.
