Almscliffe
Almnscliffe Crag is a rocky outcrop that is an instantly recognisable feature in Wharfedale. Created by the last Ice Age, it creates a wonderful motif in a painting. Here, I was most interested in the ephemeral clouds but liked the contrast with the solidity of the rock.
