By The Lake
This painting on silk shows a woman amongst the lotus flowers at the edge of a lake. It has been painted using traditional techniques including the application of colour on the back as well as the front of the painting. I also used some gold leaf to highlight the decorations in her hair. It has been mounted with ivory silk boaders and is ready for framing.
