This original artwork was created in Chinese ink and watercolour on Rice paper, and backed in the authentic Chinese method. I love how the delicate Dragonfly lightens the whole picture even though it is a night scene. In Japan the dragonfly is a symbol of Courage, Strength and Happiness, something many of us strive for.
