Michaela Currie

Norwich , Norfolk

Drawing and painting really does help with my mental health, it is my passion and ambition to constantly improve my art.

I work in most mediums however fantasy seascapes in oils on stretched canvas is definitely my favourite.

I am very happy to now be under the tuition of the brilliant;
Paul Weaver, Heather Joliffe and John Byrne to name a few.
with London Art College.

I also learn from online tutorials and tuition books. Of course the SAA has been a great inspiration to me and teaching place. I also get my teaching from many other sources.

I go by the name Eccentric Artist, as I do hope my art does scream vibrant eccentricity.

My degree is in Business Information Systems with a background in Aesthetics; However, my heart belongs to art.

I am a mixed media artist that mainly uses canvases and canvas paper. I do love to experiment with new techniques. I find fantasy amazing and tend to draw and paint in the style of my mind at the time.
I am an anxiety and complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder survivor.
I find Art really does help the mind and soul.

I get lost in my paintings whilst listening to music on my headphones. :)). Art has really helped me through my darkest times and helped me express my feelings in a way that I never felt able to before. I find the gift to put on to paper imagination and dreams is so rewarding.

All artwork comes signed, stamped on the back and with a certificate of authenticity. I can supply original pieces, prints, cards, mugs, clocks etc please contact for more information.

I do hope my artwork can bring joy to your home or office for years to come! Most pieces are for sale!

Please do let me know if you like what you see, positive comments and suggestions are always appreciated and responded to :)

Much Love
