Ferry Backsplash

I am always inspired by the backsplash from the ferry, here I have tried to capture it with mixed media. I painted underlying base coat of acrylic in gesso. I painted over with acrylic paint and a splattering. The ferry was coming into the islands on the Isle of Harris, which a used painted paper collage for the effect of the islands.
