Poppies in an English Meadow
I admire Janet Whittle's style of painting and Ann Blockley's Style. This appealed to me to paint it in their style. I find poppies an exciting colour and flower to paint after Monet's paintings. I followed the detail and instructions, but added sea salt to give a spidery effect with the effects of Granulation medium. I used a pen outline of the stems. I enjoyed painting the finished product.
