This is an experimental painting with lots of loose, whipped up brushstrokes. Everybody likes puffins here on the Hebrides.
I have never seen them, but, I have the imagination from the inspiration of the tourists who have already bought puffin paintings off me. They seem to be dumpy, little birds with lots of exciting colour.
