Chris Halliwell

William Rory Gallagher (2 March 1948 – 14 June 1995) was an Irish guitarist, singer and songwriter. He formed the blues rock power trio Taste in 1966, which experienced some success in the UK. He also found success with a solo career releasing music throughout the 1970s and 1980s and selling more than 30 million records worldwide.Gallagher is known for his virtuosic style of guitar playing, which strongly influenced other guitarists The 1970s were Gallagher's most prolific period. He produced ten albums in that decade, including two live albums . In 1972, he was voted Melody Maker's Guitarist/Musician of the Year.
