Sunst stare

Ian Chapman

This is what we call a happy accident in watercolours. My aim was to depict a snowy sunset, but the result was more like a volcanic eruption. I realise now that the mountain should be more ouange than white to reflect to colour of the sunlight.
I adopted my images from various photographs from the internet, to make my own compostion.
I used SAA watercolour paints and SAA brushes on A3 Bockingford 300gm paper.
