Yelllow and White beirded Iris with Musk beetle
Painted with Faber Castel polymer pencils and white gouache for light highlights. The musk beetle has been painted with iuile colour shift paint on colour pencil, To give an eye catching realism of the insect. However, this cannot really be captured on a photo, omly on film, when I move the picture around.
The background has been painted in Black indian ink to better illustrate the sunlight of the flower petals.
