In the arms of an Angel
I saw this old victorian very sad photo of a boy sat on a doorstep on the internet and felt I had to paint it.
For the cherub, I used 2 different scultures from internet photos.
This picture depicts what some people have experienced in life. Absolute despiration!
The angel represents hope and the dog represents unseen and unconditional love. The staiway represents a pathway to a brighter new begining.
