King of Spades
Gladiator is one of my favourite Movies and I chose Hollywood Idol Russel Crowe to represent the King of spades. I though he was an appropriate choice and I depicted him as Maximus. He is depicted as wearing the gold Laurel crown of the Emporer, as in the Movie Galdiator, he was chosen as the successor of Marcus Aurelius.
I used Faber Castel Polychrome pencils and white gouach on A3 Fabriano 160gm paper.
