Marilyn Monroe
As a fan of Hollywood Movie Icon, Marilyn Monroe, I love to draw and paint her image. I was kindly give a large A2 sheet of 400gm Indian handmade cotton paper to experiment with and decided to paint this picture from one of many of her photos from the internet.
The figure has been rendered in Graphite pencil and black Indian Ink. I added the gold halo to give it a more opulent look.
