Tulips
As a keen gardener I love tulips. I used one of my photos of cut tulips to lead a demo in my art group.
This is my favourite style of watercolour painting. It starts its prime wash as a wet-on-wet wash. Then using Paynes grey blue hue to negative paint in detail. A few splashes adds a little vigour.
I used SAA watecour paints, SAA brushes on A3 Bockinford 300gm paper.
