I wanted to find an interesting picture of an old man to explore the detail of an aged face and see if I could replicaate it. I came across and artist called Dorota Piotrowiak on pinterest and found this amazing fantasy portrait. I think I have done her picture justice and I think its one of my best. I am going to try to use this style with my future photo portrats.
It was rendered with Faber Castel Polymer pencil crayons with some white gouache wash here and there. The picture is on A3 fabriano 160gm paper
