Unwavering, the Boat Returns, Cadgwith

Alice Hole

The coast of South West Cornwall is frequently battered by many storms followed by moments of beauty and tranquillity. This view of a weathered boat moored on a peaceful beach with the waves gently breaking, after a hard day's fishing, reminded me of the fishing community of Cornwall, weathering the literal and metaphorical storms but still standing strong and finding a moment of stillness.
