Together 'Til the Tide, Porthleven
The textures of the boats stacked in beautiful Porthleven first attracted me to this scene. I loved the contrast between the flaky paint and rusty surfaces and the smooth, shiny, newly painted hulls. These boats sit basking in the sunshine, waiting for the right time when they will be used for pleasure or work. Some of these vessels are patched up and in need of paint, some are brand new, and others are newly spruced up. All are useful and will bring pleasure to their owners…
