After The Rain
A watercolour painting on black watercolour paper.
I was struggling to find a subject for the “Rain” challenge and then one morning I spotted a spiders web outside just after it had stopped raining. I took a photo but for my painting I decided on a fairly simple background to emphasise the web and rain drops.
I also used a touch of white gouache to give the water droplets more depth.
