I got here first!
Whenever I hang fat balls in the garden for the birds, the first on the scene are invariably either Jackdaws, Magpies or Starlings - or all 3 fighting it out! The smaller birds do benefit eventually by picking the crumbs off the ground below.
So when I saw the challenge “Garden Birds” my immediate thought was to do something involving these 3 types….
This is a water colour painting created to reflect this.
Hobbycraft water colours, Derwent Inktense pencils and permanent ink pen on Heaton Cooper 300mg rough watercolour paper.
