Jasper
A watercolour painting of Jasper our Whippet/Italian Greyhound cross. I initially planned to do using a wet on wet process but things got a bit muddy so I ended up having to use some white gouache and blending. The background block paving was simply done with pencil and covered in a wash and a black ink pen was used to accentuate some areas.
So not how I’d planned it but I like it.
Schmincke watercolours, Cotman white gouache and black ink pen on Heaton Cooper 300mg rough watercolour paper.
