Who switched the light on!
A pastel sketch of the SAA “Inquisitive Charmer” challenge by Su Melville.
I struggle when it comes to doing detailed sketches and although I studied Su’s process, once I had the pastels (sticks, pans and pencils) and paper in front of me I soon realised that I was ignoring what I’d read and was just letting things evolve as I usually do. So I just continued and in the end, although very different from Su’s I quite like it.
