Spring in a vase
A pastel drawing of a vase of tulips for the SAA “Still Life” challenge.
I wasn’t planning on doing a second Still Life for the challenge until I saw the vase of tulips on the window sill looking close to their “end date”. The slightly yellow leaves and some sad looking blooms inspired me to give it a go. I also felt that I could do it most justice in a pastel drawing.
Faber Castel pastel pencils and SAA soft pastels on dark green Pastelmat paper.
