These Hands!
I was sat thinking one day and found myself just looking at my hands. I hadn’t really appreciated how wrinkled and stubby they had become. I’d never considered them as a possible subject for a drawing or painting but in that split moment I thought why not!
I’ve classed it as “Still Life” as I couldn’t find any other subject group that it fitted. Plus they are Still and Living.
Derwent pastel pencils and SAA soft pastels on dark green Pastelmat paper.
