Cat Nap
Although I had already done a Tiger drawing for the current challenge, a timely inspirational blog by Carol Kibble was the only incentive I needed to have another go. Although pastels is a medium I use a lot, I tend to go for a more impressionistic approach rather than a detailed one. Mainly because I struggle with putting fine detail in from both a confidence aspect and a patience aspect. I normally prefer to complete something at one sitting. Although not as detailed as Carol’s Tiger, it is more detailed than I am used to doing.
Pastel pans, Faber- Castell pastel pencils and pastel sticks on Pastelmat paper.
