Dusk at The Old Boathouse

After a very pleasant meal at The Old Boathouse in Amble I was attracted to atmospheric effects of the lighting caused by the evening sky. I took several photos with the idea of creating a painting of some sorts. The plan was (hopefully still is) to reproduce it several times but in different media. This is the first attempt using pastels.
Faber-Castell pastel pencils and pastel sticks on Pastelmat paper.
