The Rocker
Acrylic painting of the long departed and sorely missed Thin Lizzy front man Phil Lynott. Had the pleasure of seeing them in my youth and always remember how he charismatically involved the audience in the whole experience. I had previously tried pencil sketches of him with mixed results but when I bought an A2 canvass I just felt it was crying out for me to try a big portrait of him. It was also the first time I tried something on that scale.
